The Liverpool Art Café is sited on busy West Derby Road, Tuebrook, opposite the police station overlooking The Liverpool Art Café has become known for its great food and exciting artwork from established and newly discovered artists. Already famous for its warm, relaxed environment where everyone is made welcome. Owners Tom and Catherine Murphy opened the café more than a year ago with the objective of providing a place where local artists could exhibit their works and for local people to enjoy while eating and drinking quality home cooked food. Tom Murphy is famous for his many bronze sculptures around Liverpool and Catherine is a former editor and art critic. Reproductions of his famous work are on sale at the café at reduced prices. There are several full size sculptures including Bill Shankly, Princess Diana and Paul McCartney. The Café is located in one of the most beautiful and vibrant locations in the North of Liverpool and is a must see cultural staging post in this part of the city.
Tuebrook and Newsham Park are fast becoming property hot spots due to new and imaginative new businesses like the Liverpool Art Café highlighting the area. The menu is designed to appeal to most tastes and caters for traditional tastes as well as vegetarians and offers cheaper portions for children under 12. All food is sourced locally and is freshly prepared by our professional chef. Our reasonable commission charges and professional gallery approach make the Art Café and great place for exhibiting artworks. |
